Funding

Funding of up to £2,500 to allow local community groups and partner organisations operating in the South Lanarkshire Council area to pursue environmental, sustainability or climate change projects. 

The Scottish Landfill Communities Fund (SLCF) is available to communities who face disamenity from their proximity to a landfill site or waste transfer station. The fund supports projects that support recycling, reuse and prevents waste. 

The FCC Scottish Action Fund provides grants of between £2,000 and £40,000 to not-for-profit organisations for the following types of projects eligible under Scottish Landfill Communities Fund (SLCF).

The Youth Reuse and Sharing Grant is a grant of up to £1000 for projects that involve young people aged between 16 to 25 years old, to introduce a more sustainable way of buying and using products through enabling shared access, providing reusable items or finding new ways to repurpose unused items.
