Climate Conversations by SCCAN

Climate Conversations aim to create support for climate change from the ground up, taking place in person (in people’s homes or community organisations) or online.

A host arranges a session through SCCAN, who provide a facilitator to lead the conversation.

The facilitator’s role is to help guests understand what climate change is, what can be done to mitigate it, and inspire people to take action, through different activites and discussion. Facilitators are all volunteers, and training is provided by SCCAN

Climate Fresk

Climate Fresk is a 3-hour training session either in person or online. It takes the form of a 42-card game in 4 phases.

Each session looks at topics such as the causes and consequences of Climate Change and looks at actions that can be taken to combat Climate Change.

The sessions are for everyone, with a maximum of 8 participants per session - they are interactive and discussion based.
