To teach children about food growing, the Hub ran a Taste and Grow programme linking primary schools with local growing groups with the help of facilitator. The programme demonstrated the benefit of building local collaborations between schools and community growing groups to educate, empower and enable children and teachers to embed food growing education in the curriculum and to meet the ambitions of the Good Food Nation Plan.

To help build more collaborations we have developed a practical toolkit to support community growing groups to confidently engage with early years education and includes a detailed guide to answer common questions and concerns, as well as helpful templates and curriculum prompts.
