Community growers! Learn to create a thriving compost!

Join Propagate and Clydesdale Soil Health Network at Glenboig Community Garden to learn composting skills, ask questions and make connections with other growing groups.

The session is designed to:

- Improve your practical knowledge and confidence around composting systems and soil health

- Connect you with other community growers and projects with whom you can share experiences and learning

- Deepen your understanding of compost and its role in biodiversity and climate action

All levels of experience are welcome, whether you are new to composting or you are a seasoned grower.

What to expect:

- Gain an understanding of the basics – green and brown matter; what compost needs to work well

- Learn about compost as a living ecosystem – hear about the role of microbes, fungi and invertebrates

- Understand different composting systems and methods

- Improve your composting through a hands-on workshop

- Leave with tips for sharing your knowledge with others within your group
