About the screening

The People's Emergency Briefing is a 50-minute film featuring scientists and experts sharing evidence about changes to our climate and natural environment, and how these changes may affect everyday life.

Topics covered include:

• Extreme weather
• Food and water security
• Health and wellbeing
• Household costs
• Our natural environment and local communities

Community discussion

Following the screening there will be an open discussion about the issues raised and what they might mean for the local community. The aim is to create a welcoming space where people can listen, ask questions, share thoughts and hear different perspectives. You do not need any previous knowledge of the subject, and there is no expectation that everyone will have the same views. Respectful discussion is encouraged and everyone is welcome.

This is a free event and booking is required. Spaces are limited; secure your spot via Eventbrite.

Doors open at 6.45pm; the film starts at 7pm.
